Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
